Works location and photo

Ashingdon Road, Rochford

About the works

As part of the planning condition granted by Rochford District Council (Planning Application 20/00363/OUT) for the Kings Hill Park development, Bloor Homes are required to improve and upgrade existing facilities to support access to the new development.

This includes:

  • carriageway widening and re-surfacing
  • footway re-construction/surfacing areas affected by road widening
  • renew the existing pedestrian crossing
  • renew pedestrian railings

How it will affect you

In order to minimise inconvenience, the developer plans to utilise the school holiday period where possible and carry out the work in phases, varying the traffic management according to activities being carried out.

We understand there are no plans for work to take place on Sundays or Bank Holidays, and deliveries will be arranged outside of peak hours to minimise disruption to traffic flows.
